Who are you outsourcing your success to?

Do you trust whoever you’ve delegated the keys to your business?

Some of you might be thinking, “My business isn’t big enough to outsource anything yet” or “My business is virtual; there are no keys.”

But take a minute to think about this.

Are you outsourcing your emotions? Where does your success come from? Who defines what success is for you and for your business?

How do you feel about your business right now?

What do you believe about your value as a coach? As an entrepreneur? As a person?
What do you believe about the value of your body of work?
What do you believe about the value of your business?
What do you believe about your ability to make money and manage a highly successful business?

If you’re anything like me and my clients were, you probably don’t feel so good right about now. If you’re anything like me and my clients were, you are probably outsourcing a lot more than you think in your business.

You may not be outsourcing website updates, social media posts, or Facebook ads. But I would be willing to bet that you’re outsourcing how you feel about your business and the entrepreneur that’s running it.

How could I know that? Because I’ve been there.

Your posts don’t get the amount of Likes or Comments you wanted? You might think, “I must be doing it wrong.”
Your webinar doesn’t get the number of registrations you expected? You might think, “No one wants to hear what I have to say.”
Your Facebook ads don’t convert the way you hoped? You might think, “I don’t have the right niche.”
A consult doesn’t turn into a client? You might think, “I’m terrible at selling.”
Three consults in a row say they can’t afford it? You might think, “My program isn’t worth what I’m charging.”

How do all of these feel? Terrible. Just evidence stacking up to prove what you’ve believed for a long time, which is probably something like, “I had no business thinking I could actually build a coaching business.”

The reason you feel terrible is not because of the outcomes I’ve described in these scenarios.
The reason you feel terrible is because of what you believe these outcomes mean about you and your ability to run a successful business.
The reason you feel terrible is because you’ve outsourced your emotions to these outcomes.

When you outsource your emotions, you might as well hand over the success of your business. Your emotions are the fuel for your success. You don’t want just anyone handling the fuel for your success. You want to handle the fuel personally.

There are lots of things you can outsource in a successful business.

Your emotions are not one of those things.

You have to manage those yourself. Your emotions require your personal touch.

To manage your emotions, you need to manage what you believe.

There is nothing wrong with you. You are not a problem to be solved.

Instead of asking what is wrong with you, ask what would make more people engage in this post?

Instead of asking why no one wants to hear what you have to say, ask what do people need to hear?

Instead of asking why you didn’t pick a better niche, ask “What people need what I have to offer?”

Instead of asking why that client didn’t want to work with you, ask “What were they believing and feeling that lead to them not taking action to solve their problem?”

Instead of asking why people can’t afford your program, ask “What descriptions would paint the vision of their results more clearly?”

The outcomes are not about you. The outcomes are about details. Details can be changed.
What is about you is what you’re believing. What you’re believing will determine how you’re fueling your dreams.

Are you fueling your dreams with sugar water or with jet fuel?

That’s exactly what we work on in my 6-month 1:1 M.A.S.T.E.R. Money coaching program. How you fuel your dreams to get your MORE.
